Your love was a transaction, a cold give and take.

Absent of emotional connection, every act empty and fake.

But you showed me your life was…one where love becomes a purchase completed impersonally.

You are who you are and there was no way for you to fully see…

Your mind works in ways of calculations,

There’s no love with you without complex manipulations.

When I loved you, I loved less of me.

To you, you always wanted the best of any deal relentlessly.

There was no compassion or kindness, only blackness in your eyes as far as I could see…

You built a superficial hierarchy, a cruel order of sorts.

But your morality and apathy never would have held up in any legal courts.

At times you could be my hero, a white knight saving me…

But I learned you were the one to put me in danger, just so I could flatter your ego eventually…

At times you could be sweet…

Then one wrong word from me…

And you did all you could to destroy my dignity.

It was all about what I could give to you in the end…

There’s no love in your heart and somehow I don’t think yours will mend.

This is who you are, you won’t ever see a person existing outside of you…

Selfishness and ugliness follow behind everything you continue to do.

Everything you do.
