I thought love was simple….
Like those stories I once read growing up….
But…
Then when I least expected it…
I found those stories….
Were not enough…
Because love isn’t a simple happy ending….
It’s work and forgiveness…
And so much more than fantasy…
I lost myself in those imaginations…
Forgot to look within me….
Life and love are never simple…
But when it’s right it’s right….
And I never knew….
I could be my own hero…
In my own story…
As I create a more loving…
