So easy to forget…
But to forgive….
Holding onto resentments and regrets….
It’s no way to truly live…
Staying mad at you…
Kept me locked within my own traumas…
And staying hateful towards you….
Kept alive the endless rotating dramas….
You may never receive the justice I once wished for you…
But letting the memories haunt me…
In everything I do…
Would not be doing justice for my own truth and tears…
You’ve already taken too many years…
It will take time for me to fully forgive…
But that’s the only path that leads to…
Being able to love and live…
